Attach the Legs

Place the platform face down on a flat surface. Then, line up the legs with the corresponding screw hole locations, and attach using the provided bolts. All you will need is a screwdriver.

Insert Padding

Take the 4 padded circles and attach them to the front and back of the riser legs. This will protect your desk from scuffs and scratches, keeping your workstation in excellent shape.

Above Storage

Use the top of the riser to elevate monitors, laptops, small TV’s, projectors, and more! Placing your screen at a comfortable viewing position reduces eye strain and muscle tension.

I am so content with this product! I have been looking for one since I first heard of them and all the other ones on Amazon were overpriced, in my opinion. I came across this one & ordered it. I got it today & I was a little thrown off by the fact that it was sent in its own packaging, as opposed to a regular mailing box. But the assembly was so easy! Just put the legs where they belong and screw in place. A mini wrench is included. It raised my laptop to my eye level, about 4 inches off the surface. Definitely makes a difference!

Got 2 of these yesterday in order to use as stands with a little extra storage space for a PS2 and a PS3 and their controllers. They fit the purpose quite well and the design feels solid and sturdy, but my only gripe is that the strength in stability or holding weight it gets from its sparser pattern of perforations makes the ventilation feature on this not as efficient, I'd imagine, as the denser perforation pattern on the Allsop stands you might be comparing this with... still, I think the design is sturdier overall for the way the perforated plate covers the legs (bowing in the metal plate is a common remark about the Allsop stands).

My big concern with buying these was the remarks others made about receiving screws too short to connect the legs to the plate; however, I think there was a design change - mine featured screws sticking out from the plate that the legs just had to align and slide over, then I took the included nuts and "wrench" to tighten the legs into this plate.

I think these will work well, but will update my review if something were to change.

I've been using a plastic four-legged stand for years for my laptop, which serves as secondary screen to my main monitor. I mean, it did the trick, but this metal stand is far more elegant and practical because it has a wide-open front, with no front legs to navigate when readjusting cables. Heck, now I want to buy one for my toaster oven, coffee maker, and kitchen counters to hold the stew when it comes out of the oven.
