I notice a difference when I use it, while holding the laptop in my lap, as opposed to when I do not use it. My legs don't hurt as much when I use it, and I don't feel the heat from the computer. The DefenderPad has a nice grip on it, so it doesn't slide all around. It's a nice color, and style, and pretty sturdy! My son bumped it and it fell off the counter (with the laptop sitting on it), and it only cracked it partially. Still completely usable and holds together just fine. Can't even tell it's cracked. (Yes, the computer survived!! In fact, it was probably the DefenderPad that saved it, as the computer stayed on top of it the pad as it fell!)

I was getting concerned about the time my wife and I spend with our laptops, tablets and phones in our laps, I did some research and this seemed to be the most effective protection from EMF. So I ordered 2 and they came quickly.

They seem well made, very sturdy. It's a little heavy, but I think that's probably because of the multiple layers of protection.

I don't have any way of measuring it's effectiveness, but other reviewers have and I feel better about having our devices in our laps so much.

I liked this PSD. Couldn't fond one that fit my exact computer hzs mine is a 19" And this is zn 18" . But it somehow does fit the bottom part. It is well made, good quality. Just wished there were more choices in color. I would have liked a purple or Irish green color. The color is OK though.

I ordered this EMF protector because I often sit in a comfy chair and work with my laptop sitting on my lap/legs. When doing this my abdomen starts to throb and my legs get very warm. I've only been using the DefenderPad for a few days now. I can feel the difference the Defender Pad makes. The throbbing in my abdomen stopped. The heat did not pass through the DefenderPad. I still think I should also get the small EMF Radiation Protection blanket and use it with the Defender Pad laying it between my belly and the mouse pad to further protect my abdomen from any radiation coming out of the front of the computer. The blanket would catch anything the Pad does not. I feel more secure using DefenderPad.
